The threat of persecution brings fear and intimidation. It is a tactic used by the enemy to paralyze and limit your potential. The enemy uses the threat of persecution to stop the advancement of the children of God from their promises. Ultimately what the enemy is seeking to do is to separate you from God. But the devil is a liar!
It is important that when we are being persecuted that our trust be steadfast and unmovable in the Lord. We must be confident that the Lord will save us and deliver us from persecution.
David wrote, “O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: Save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:”
Psalm 7:1
Be strong in your faith, knowing that God hears your prayer and will deliver you.
God is able to stand against the threats of the enemy and bring change to your situation for the better. The Bible says that God is angry with the wicked everyday. The Lord will stand against the fake news spoken against you. Every spirit of mischief conceived against you will not prosper.
The Lord will bring persecution to an end and not only to an end but will turn it into your favor. Every evil that comes against you, God is turning around for your good.
The same ditch the enemy has dug to put you in is the same ditch God will use to put your enemy in. While the enemy is trying to pull you down, God is lifting you up.
Praise the Lord, for the Lord is promoting you to greater things.

Throughout history men and women have been persecuted for their faith. Many have been tortured to the brink of losing their lives. We may think that we have advanced from those barbaric acts of persecution but the fact of the matter is that persecution is still in the world today. Many innocent people are being persecuted.
It is hard to deal with persecution from strangers but it is tragic when persecution comes from people you care about and who claim to care about you. It is hard for a spouse to hear the accusations coming from their spouse for offenses they did not commit. False accusations of infidelity, of being lazy and no good are extremely damaging to a persons mind, emotions and spirit. Some people spend years in therapy and never recover from years of being put down by others.
