🍓 Celebrate the Strawberry Harvest — and God's Fruit in Our Lives This Saturday, June 7, 2025.

The Fruit of the Spirit
The Fruit of the Spirit

This Saturday, June 7, 2025, the Queens County Farm Museum will host its annual Strawberry Festival, a joyful, family-friendly celebration of nature’s sweetness. Located at 73-50 Little Neck Parkway, this event brings together families and neighbors to enjoy strawberry picking, delicious treats, games, music, and a beautiful outdoor experience.

At Forgiveness Assembly Church, we see more than just fruit — we see a lesson in spiritual growth.

🌿 Harvest Time in the Natural and the Spiritual

Just as strawberries take time, care, and the right season to flourish, so do the fruits of the Spirit in our lives. Galatians 5:22-23 reminds us:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”

Like any harvest, these fruits don’t appear overnight. They require cultivation through prayer, fellowship, time in God’s Word, and walking in obedience.

Why Events Like These Matter

Events like the Strawberry Festival offer more than just fun—they offer a chance for families to pause, connect, and reflect on the goodness of God. Being outside, surrounded by creation, reminds us of how God designed seasons—both in nature and in our lives.

A Sweet Opportunity

If you’re planning to attend the festival, use it as a moment of gratitude. Thank God for His blessings. As you enjoy the strawberries, think of how He calls us to bear good fruit in every season.

And if you’ve been feeling like your spiritual life is stuck in winter, be encouraged—God is not done with you yet. Your harvest is coming.

🕊 Let’s Grow Together

We invite you to join us this Sunday at Forgiveness Assembly Church in Jamaica, Queens. Let’s continue to grow in faith, bear fruit, and walk through every season—together.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
